Making the Most of Murphy, NC

Murphy is a small city located in the Nantahala National Forest, and is set right along Hiwassee Lake. As the seat of Cherokee County, and one of the most western cities in North Carolina, Murphy is an ideal destination for fans of the great outdoors. Be sure to keep that tackle box loaded with all the essentials as the fishing at Apalachia Lake, and the aforementioned Hiwassee Lake will keep even the most experienced of anglers busy.
